Installing Batteries

1. Open the compartment

   Press and slide the cover toward the rear of the body to open the battery compartment.

2. Insert batteries

   Insert 2×AA rechargeable NI-MH batteries, observing correct polarity (+/- orientation).

3. Close the cover

   Press and slide the cover back to the top to seal it securely.

Caution

Only use the included NI-MH rechargeable batteries. Do not mix battery types.

Charging

Charging Process

1. Connect the micro USB cable to the device
2. Connect to a 5V/1A USB power source
3. The battery icon will scroll during charging
4. The battery icon will flash when charging is complete

Tip

You can charge via computer USB, but this takes longer than a wall adapter.

Battery Indicators

Icon State	Meaning
Scrolling animation	Currently charging
Flashing (full)	Charging complete
Flashing (empty)	Low battery - charge needed

Long-Term Storage

If not using the device for extended periods:

1. Fully charge the device before storage
2. Recharge at least once every 6 months
3. This prevents battery discharge damage
4. Store in the included carrying case in a cool, dry place
