Power On/Off

Turn ON

Short press the A button to start the device. The laser will stand by for measurement.

Note

The laser automatically turns off after 30 seconds without any operation.

Turn OFF

Long press OFF for ≥3 seconds to turn off the device.

Tip

The device also auto-shuts off after 180 seconds (3 minutes) of inactivity.

Reference Point

The reference point determines where measurements are taken from.

Long press + to cycle through reference points:

Reference	Use Case
End (default)	Measuring from the back of the device
Middle	Measuring from the tripod mount
Front	Measuring from the front edge

Unit Setting

1. Long press U- for ≥2 seconds
2. The unit display will start blinking
3. Short press to cycle through units
4. Wait for auto-confirm or press A

Sound Settings

Toggle the buzzer on or off:

1. Long press U- for ≥3 seconds
2. Listen for the “BEE” confirmation sound
3. Check the display:
   • × appears = buzzer OFF
   • × disappears = buzzer ON

Note

The confirmation beep plays regardless of the new setting, so you can hear that the command was received.
