Storage Guidelines

Long-Term Storage
Section titled “Long-Term Storage”If not using the device for extended periods:
- Remove batteries — Prevents leakage and corrosion
- Full charge first — If using rechargeable batteries
- Recharge periodically — Every 6 months to maintain battery health
- Use carrying case — Protects from dust and physical damage
Cleaning
Section titled “Cleaning”Device Body
Section titled “Device Body”- Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the exterior
- Remove dust and fingerprints regularly
- Dry thoroughly before storage
Optical Components
Section titled “Optical Components”The laser window and reception lens require careful cleaning:
- Blow off loose dust — Use compressed air or gentle breath
- Use lens tissue — Optical-grade cleaning tissue only
- Gentle circular motion — Work from center outward
- Lens cleaning solution — If needed, use optical lens cleaner
Battery Care

Signs Batteries Need Replacement

- Slow charging
- Device shuts off unexpectedly
- Error 10 appears frequently
Do’s and Don’ts
Section titled “Do’s and Don’ts”- Store in the carrying case
- Clean optics with proper materials
- Check battery level before important work
- Perform periodic accuracy checks
- Keep firmware updated (BT models via app)
✗ Don’t
Section titled “✗ Don’t”- Drop or impact the device
- Expose to water or extreme humidity
- Store with depleted batteries
- Use non-rechargeable batteries with USB charging
- Disassemble the device
When to Seek Service
Section titled “When to Seek Service”Contact Huepar support (support@huepar.com) if:
- Accuracy consistently exceeds specifications
- Device won’t power on after charging
- Laser beam appears dim or irregular
- Display shows persistent errors
- Physical damage has occurred
